The Role
We are looking for a well-organized and analytical Wellness Coordinator to manage our company’s proposed wellness programs. The individual will provide insight and direction, lead wellness partners, create pricing and bundling strategies and effectively maintain program strategy. To excel in this position, you will possess a sound understanding of all holistic wellness disciplines, demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and maintain a strong professional work ethic.
The Work
- Design a fully operational wellness program that combines services from our wellness partners.
- Present on a variety of wellness topics including but not limited to healthy eating, walking clinics, and heart health.
- Design a strategy to interpret and present screening data to customers and educate customers with specific age- and health-condition-appropriate healthy lifestyle information.
- Instruct future members on proper execution of exercises, safety precautions, and appropriate lifestyle changes for both student and senior adult populations
- Handle and organize medical charts and other personal documents, following HIPPA regulations. Provide an elevated customer experience to generate a loyal clientele.
- Coordinates, plans, and facilitates health and fitness activities and programs for Wellcube employees.
- Plans and implements classes, speakers, seminars, personal training, and fitness assessments that promote healthy lifestyles.
- Develops promotion and publicity plans for wellness and fitness programs throughout the organization
- Assists the CEO in the development of budgets, policies, and procedures relevant to the operation of the wellness programs.
- Provides educational presentations and training programs.
Education and Experience:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in health education, psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is required; a Masters’s degree is preferred.
- Five or more years of experience in wellness program development.
- Strong experience leading, supervising, and motivating a team of wellness professionals.
- Strategic thinker and proficient in decision-making.
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner.
