Job Position – Accounting Manager

Hiring for an Accounting Manager to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day accounting department activities.
The candidate should have relevant experience in the UAE.
Hiring for someone to work closely with the management and handle a team of 5+ accountants reporting directly to him/her.
Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department with respect to accounting retainers of various clients.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements, or budgets.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles, including IFRS
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
Requirements and skills
• Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager
• Advanced computer skills in MS Excel, accounting software (XERO), and databases
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, IFRS, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
• In-depth understanding of cash flow management, general ledger, capital asset reconciliation, fixed asset entries, debtor/ creditor, and other related bookkeeping, lease accounting, etc.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce required financial reports, budgets or statements as wanted by clients
• Leadership abilities, including client communication, mail communication skills, etc.
• ACCA, CA, CPA, Similar relevant qualifications.
• 6+ years of experience
• Budgeted salary of AED 7-12K, based on experience and skills
