Job Description:
- The Data Analyst is responsible for managing all data projects, data extraction, analysis and assisting in the development and implementation of various regulatory projects (from a data/technical
- perspective) to ensure alignment with CMA’s (Creative Media Authority) objectives.
- The Data Analyst will manage the CRM database for Companies/Freelancers in the free zone and will provide ongoing support to the wider department assisting the Section Head on all special project initiatives within the department.
- Managing the overall data input process (including all salesforce data entry, uploading of documents to Salesforce)
- Reviewing and accurately extracting all current and historic data from files of Companies, Branches and Freelancers in the Media Zone
- Devising and inputting data into an electronic and searchable format and other related tasks.
- Liaise with relevant IT departments both internally and externally
- After data extraction processes are complete, creation of useable electronic dashboard to display and facilitate data reporting as required by MZA and manage the overall CRM project
- Accurately maintain the internal CRM for the Companies/Freelancer Register
- Propose ideas and options to create efficient data reporting and modelling and complete analyses on data as required by MZA
- Run data reports on a weekly and an ad-hoc basis as required internally and by Government Authorities
- Carry out any other duties and responsibilities related to the role at the request of the direct manager
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Demonstrate compliance to organization’s values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the organization.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Experience:
- Relevant exposure to multiple projects
- Proven experience in managing and analyzing data
- Proven experience in managing CRMs
- Industry-related training
- In house practical experience desirable
Skills:
- Language: Full professional English proficiency both in speaking and writing, Arabic desirable
- Strong skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel) and CRM (including but not limited to Salesforce)
- Excellent administrative skills and strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to complete work in a timely manner
- Ability to work quickly and creatively with strong multi-tasking capability
- Teamwork skills with the ability to build relationships
- Strong communication
- Demonstrated data analytical skills
