Requirements:
Diploma / any Graduation.
Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent Customer service skills
Prior experience processing warranty claims in the manufacturing industry or a similar industry
The warranty Administrator is the primary point of contact between the customer and the manufacturer for all warranty-related issues and claims.
Primary responsibility is to work towards an expedited resolution to all warranty claims that will promote profitability and satisfaction on behalf of the service department and customer, respectively.
Must be mindful of time-sensitive information that requires submission at distinct intervals during the warranty process; therefore, he/she will have exceptional time-management and organization skills with an ability to work independently on multiple projects at once.
Provides warranty support to customers as well as service and sales departments.
Prepares records, reconciles warranty claims, and submits them to the appropriate manufacturers for payment.
Processes repair orders for factory recall repairs.
Works directly in conjunction with sales department and Service Manager/Writer to ensure that warranty work is correctly identified, communicated, and reconciled in a reasonable timeframe that advocates for the customer.
