Job Position –Technical Draftsman/Cutting Lister

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Draftsman/Cutting Lister to join our Joinery and Furniture company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AutoCAD and preferably Sketchup, along with a proven track record in the GCC joinery and furniture industry. The candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings and cutting lists for our joinery and furniture projects.
Responsibilities:
– Create accurate and detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and Sketchup (preferred but not mandatory).
– Generate cutting lists based on the technical drawings and project requirements.
– Collaborate with design department to clear the required details.
– Review and modify technical drawings as required, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
– Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to technical drafting and cutting listing.
Requirements:
– Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Knowledge of Sketchup is preferred but not mandatory.
– Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in the GCC joinery and furniture industry.
– Strong knowledge of joinery and furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and construction techniques.
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to create accurate technical drawings.
– Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with designers, architects, and production teams.
– Ability to work under pressure.
– Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to technical drafting in the GCC region.
