What we actually do
Ecowatt develops solar, wind power plants in the eastern Europe, USA and MENA regions, as well as funds reforestation projects around the world.
In order to accelerate renewable energy and climate change projects, Ecowatt developed the Ecowatt token backed by two distinct portfolios: the Green Asset Portfolio and the Impact Portfolio.
The Green Asset Portfolio includes a large 850 MW pipeline of renewable energy plants in various stages of acquisition and development. Some of the locations include Turkey, Hungary, Romania, USA and East Africa.
The Impact Portfolio includes a host of existing NGOs, which are involved in reforestation around the world.
We are at the nexus between sustainability, blockchain, renewable energy generation and investment.
Your Role
As the international events manager, you will report into and work with the global marketing director to plan out the events, conferences and exhibitions (around the world, not just Dubai) that we want to sponsor/exhibit at every year. You will manage the process end-to-end, from contract negotiations, to liaising with design for conceptualizing eco-friendly booth infrastructure, branding them, and organising eco-friendly merchandise (goody bags, lanyards etc).
You would be required to liaise with our PR team, to ensure speech writing, videos are developed for each event.
Requirements
* You have worked in a senior event role for at least 7 years that requires you to coordinate and organise booth design and construction, as well as the other intricacies of sponsorships
* You are passionate about sustainability and making this world a better place for our future generations
* You are confident in your ability to manage events in different countries
* You have an exceptional eye for detail
* You are highly organised and can work well under pressure (we will have at least 1 event per month)
* You are a can-do, go-getter, all round cool person.
* Hit the ground running
* International travel might be required
