Job Position – Administrative Assistant

Description:
We are looking for a administrative assitant who will assist in the overall running of our sports facility.
Will be required to work some evenings and weekends
Reporting to: Senior Management team
Duties:
– Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
– Overseeing general office operation.
– Manage daily accounting transactions.
– Keeping receipts and other necessary documents for data entry and audits.
– Updates and ensures completeness of company documents.
– Dealing with phone calls/email enquiries and routing to the appropriate department where possible, whilst maintaining polite and professional communication.
– Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
– Maintains office services by organising office operations and procedures, controlling, updating and designing filing systems.
– Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication
– Being the go-to person for admin information.
– Sending out company-wide informative emails of any announcements (policy changes/Public holiday etc.)
– Working closely with internal and external parties
– Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
Requirements:
Must have an excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Experience of working in/around a sports based environment (2 years+)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Basic knowledge of accounting
Personable. Approachable. Energetic. Presentable.
Able to work under pressure in a high paced environment whilst staying calm and composed
Able to prioritize many tasks at the same time
Keep great attention to details
Proactive
Ability to work to timelines and deadlines.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends
Experience of working in/around a sports based environment (2 years+)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: AED3,500.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
