Job Position – Events and Social Media Officer

The candidate must have a good background in communication and event organization mainly focused in B2B, able to work on different channels: digital, social etc.
Key responsibilities for the Social Media part will include:
- Manage company communication aligned with the guidelines and the objectives
- Build communication plan accordingly with goals and company needs
- Monitor competitors’ communication and their social behavior
- Gather from digital and social channel all valuable news from the market and understand how to exploit them for improving communication strategy
- Ability to track and interpret KPIs related to the activities managed
- Accuracy in all the tasks managed
Key responsibilities for the Events part will include:
- Project definition
- Management of speakers, suppliers and sponsors
- Definition of targets to reach and involve guests and speakers
- Research, classification, organization and archiving of documents and historical information relating to previous events
- Organization of location set-up
- Coordination of all activities during the event
Skills and experience required:
The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience in similar roles preferably in IT B2B market
- Proven ability in managing successful communication plans
- Experience in communication strategy and strong knowledge of digital and social marketing
- Very good level of the English language, both written and spoken
- Flexibility and ability to work on different projects
- Strong interpersonal skills and capability to build strong professional relationship
- Ability to work in a team, strong drive to achieve common goals
