Prepare and document statistical product methodologies and quality standards for new and existing themes and sub-themes; prepare quality-related guides for the guidance of Abu Dhabi’s statistical ecosystem.

Research
• Support research projects with research tasks, documentation and reports.
Methodology
• Support the verification of already approved methods for collection, sampling, editing, imputing and other statistical production activity.
• Identify methodologies, concepts and classification for statistical products and data sources.
• For existing theme enhancements, consult with stakeholders and confirm needs in detail, including deliverables, schedule, dissemination method and reasons for needs (end user’s purpose).
• Define indicators / concepts to be measured.
• Specify target population and the variables for which data are to be produced.
• Check whether current data sources can meet user requirements and the conditions under which they would be available, including any restrictions on their use.
• Define frame and sample methodologies.
• Calculate weights and aggregates.
• Prepare a survey frame to define statistical units of population being observed and determine statistical processing.
• Prepare methodology statistical registers to record statistics and validation rules.
• Prepare collection design documents.
• Consult and collaborate with Data Sector, as required.
Statistical quality standards
• Define standards to be applied to each statistical product, with reference to quality dimensions and user profiles.
• Define output quality measures.
• Prepare statistical production manual of instructions for Data Sector, Economic Statistics, and Sectorial Statistics (for the use and guidance of ADGEs).
• Communicate guidance and instructions to Data Sector, Statistical Production and Sectorial Statistics and arrange training.
Projects
• Contribute knowledge and skill to Section projects, as required.
Other
• Execute work tasks, as instructed, taking ownership of decisions, outcomes, quality and achievement of team objectives.
• Comply with SCAD policies and procedures, Example but not limited to HSE policy & procedures.
• Maintain own knowledge and develop expertise in statistics and related fields.
• Contribute to the development of colleagues.
