Job Position – Purchase Officer

Job Responsibilities:
-Source and procure a wide range of materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for our operations.
-Identify potential suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to ensure optimal value for the company.
-Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
-Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support.
-Monitor market trends and industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions.
-Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
-Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
-Proven work experience as a Purchase Officer or similar role, preferably in the refrigeration/cold storage industry.
-Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings.
-Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
-Familiarity with MS Office softwares.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
