Job Position – Officer – Energy Underwriting

Responsibilities
· Assist with underwriting, analyzing, pricing, or monitoring rate adequacy, negotiating terms and processing of new and renewal business .
· Assist to achieve the overall profitability, growth and retention, and consistency of all related underwriting initiatives.
· Prepare all underwriting information for pricing, underwriting/engineering overviews and account analysis including CAT and aggregate modelling and exposure management.
· Manage workflow for receipt and tracking all submissions and response back to brokers/cedants accordingly within an allocated timeframe.
· Manage day to day administrative, technical, and operational tasks.
· Regular and ad-hoc engagement with other key functions of the business including Treaty, Claims, Finance and Compliance.
· Support and work on projects with the Head of Energy, as required.
Qualifications:
Educational Attainment / Certifications : Preferably with Engineering Degrees/ Insurance Certifications
Skills Required
· Advanced MS Excel
· Excellent Analytical Skills
· Knowledge in using Sequel Impact – Exposure Management System
