Responsibilities and Duties
Working on the existing advertising management system and the ad server container builds on top of Prebid.js with Vanilla Javascript.
Integrate and test new SSP bid adapters to yield optimization.
Maintain and build new internal manage UI to manage settings across thousands of sites effectively
Working with video ads using videJS and multiple video SSP, etc.
Work on the internal analytics adapter to collect data for analysis purposes.
Explore Mobile in-app solution.
Research and build the next generation of the advertising management system.
Working with the ad-ops team to solve complex issues with client integration and different cases then apply the solution back to the code base to solidify it.
Collaborate with other component teams within engineering, product, ad ops, and account management teams for all kinds of challenges relevant to advertising.
Professional Competencies
3+ years of experience in building web applications using Javascript
Highly skilled with vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Familiar using iframe, DOM, window, listener, observer, ajax, JSONP, etc.
Experience with Prebid.js (Prebid) and OpenRTB is a big plus
Strong advertising industry knowledge regarding display ad, video ad, mobile ad, header bidding is a big plus
Experience with Google DFP (Ad Manager) or other ad servers is a plus
A mentality of striving to achieve releases early and adding additional functionality to the releases or pushing code early.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
