● Reviewing the Contractor’s material submittals and obtaining necessary approvals in alignment with applicable standards and project specifications.
● Acting as the central point for scheduling and controlling construction materials and equipment at the job site.
● Conducting comprehensive inspections to verify work is executed in accordance with contract specifications.
● Coordinating with subconsultants for material testing efforts.
● Maintaining detailed office files related to the project, including material inspections and daily diaries.
● Preparing daily reports and other essential documentation as mandated by the contract.
● Ensuring only approved materials are integrated into the work.
Identifying and resolving potential conflicts, issues, and problems related to ● construction materials, proposing solutions to supervisors.
● Collecting, reviewing, and filing Certificate of Compliance, MSDS, inspection tags, and other relevant material information.
● Providing technical guidance to lower-level staff as necessary.
● Participating in the development of job safety practices and contributing to safety reports.
● Collaborating on the development of quality control reports and procedures.
● Observing, checking, and recording work execution to ensure compliance with approved methods.
● Verifying that delivered materials meet approval criteria and are properly stored.
Requirements:
● Essential: Demonstrated experience in Abu Dhabi, specifically within Infrastructure projects involving Bridges, Underpass, and Tunnels.
● Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience.
● Minimum of 7 years of overall experience in construction and supervision projects.
