Software Tester – T24 Transact for the bank in Abudhabi
Experience : 5 to 8yrs
Location : Abudhabi and WFH – India
Notice : Immediate/30days
Typical Experience/Knowledge required for the job:
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Software Testing in BFSI domain
• Should have expertise and hands-on working in Data Migration project involving Temenos T24 systems
• Good hands on experience in Testing Transact R20 or higher versions
• Exposure towards Customer, Account, funds Transfer, Money Market, Loans and Deposits mod-ules in Temenos release R12 and above
• Exposure towards Arrangement Architecture, TPH, DFE upload modules in Transact-R20
• Good knowledge in understanding Data Mapping Sheet and DM Report execution
• At least done two end to end migration testing from Legacy to T24 or Transact applications
• Having knowledge in testing of customer, accounts and LD to AA modules migration
• Should have good knowledge in T24 enquiry, Version, templates, OFS strings -messages, Batches and services
• Have prior knowledge of Banking products, and understanding of T24 configurations
• Previous experience with Temenos T24 Testing including products and integration testing with other applications
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
• Having Islamic banking knowledge is huge plus
• Good experience in using Database queries (SQL/Oracle) for testing related activities
• Experience on Test data preparation/sampling
• Test automation experience is huge plus
• Usage of Data Conversion tool is a plus
• Data profiling is plus
Responsibilities
Must have strong experience in testing Retail banking solutions of Transact R20 & Temenos-R12 versions or higher and experience in functional / domain knowledge with good testing skills.
Execute test cases for Data Migration Project from T24-R12 to Transact R20.
Validating the target database checks such as record counts, mandatory key fields, aggregate, derived, checks and more
Create comprehensive and well defined Temenos test scripts, with appropriate coverage, that are traceable back to requirements
Execution of Temenos functional, regression and integration test scripts.
Analyze requirements user stories and review acceptance criteria to ensure they are fit for purpose, testable, and interact with project management, development teams for strong understanding of the project and achieve testing objectives
Identify faults/defects
Ensure defects are raised correctly and in a timely manner using the defect management tool, JIRA
Participate in defect triage discussions
Design and execute test scenario, test case, data guidelines, traceability matrix to address business and technical uses cases
Prepare pass logs, defect logs, Defect tracker and publishing dashboard along with the test exit report to all stake holders
