Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional) preferred.
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing VMware vSphere environments in enterprise-scale environments.
Deep understanding of VMware technologies, including vSphere, vCenter Server, ESXi, vSAN, NSX, and vRealize Suite.
Strong knowledge of virtual networking, storage, and security concepts, as well as related protocols and technologies (e.g., VLANs, NFS, iSCSI, SSL/TLS).
Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerCLI, vSphere API, Ansible) for infrastructure management and automation.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in virtualized environments.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
