– Oversee and manage civil engineering projects from initiation to completion.
– Ensure projects are executed within budget and on schedule.
– Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
2. Site Supervision:
– Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and quality.
– Provide technical guidance to on-site teams and resolve engineering issues promptly.
– Implement and enforce safety protocols on construction sites.
3. Design and Analysis:
– Review and approve civil engineering designs.
– Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with regulations.
– Collaborate with design teams to optimize project plans.
4. Quality Assurance:
– Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
– Implement quality control measures to guarantee the durability and safety of structures.
5. Contract Management:
– Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
– Monitor contractual obligations and address any deviations or disputes.
6. Documentation:
– Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation.
– Prepare regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
2. 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site management.
3. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
4. Proven experience in managing and supervising construction projects in the UAE.
5. Strong knowledge of local construction regulations and permitting processes.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools.
