Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery from an accredited institute/college/university.
- Minimum of 3 years of current and continuous experience as a Registered Midwife in a hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit.
- Mandatory DHA License or eligibility for DHA License.
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications.
Required Skills & Attributes:
- Strong clinical skills in antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Sound knowledge of patient safety standards and infection control protocols.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer literacy (Microsoft Suite).
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential. Arabic language skills are a plus.
