About This Opportunity
We are now looking for an Accountant for our business in Saudi Arabia which produces aluminum beverage cans. The position reports directly to the Chief Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Crown team in Saudi Arabia.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable (Foreign and Local), record transactions in our system, maintain supplier reconciliations and process debit/credit notes
- Record accruals/prepayments in our system and maintain supporting schedules of all accrued liabilities/prepayments
- Manage petty cash, payment processing and other related duties.
- Prepare the bank reconciliation on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of Withholding Tax (WHT)/VAT and maintain related records and database
- Ensure compliance of related SOX controls and maintain accurate evidence against those controls
- Ensure timely performance of monthly closing activities and record of transactions in ERP system
- Assist in preparation of reports and financial analysis, per business requirements
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
- Minimum 2 years experience (preferably within the industrial sector in a reputed organization)
- Professional Certifications (ACCA/ CMA/ CPA/ SOCPA) is a plus
- Expertise in technical and systems skills, including advanced MS Excel and ERP system experience (i.e. JDE)
- Ability to work productively and efficiently under pressure and meeting deadlines whilst demonstrating attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to review and present data to financial and non- financial management
- A strong command of English (both written and spoken) is required
