Role Description
The Reservations Agent is responsible in following phone etiquette, handling reservations, providing excellent customer service and effective communication.
- Respond professionally and process phone calls and emails within the service level and quality standard set by the department.
- Use sales techniques when assisting guests in making reservations, including personalizing the call based on the guest needs and suggesting alternatives.
- Has full and comprehensive knowledge of the hotel room and restaurant offers, activities and facilities.
- Review daily reservation accuracy, rate compliance from segment and source, system close-out when necessary and rate availability.
- Has full knowledge and comply wit hall departmental policies.
- Effective in coordinating with other department.
Qualifications
- Past experience in Reservations, Operator or Customer Service.
- Previous experience in 5-star hotels, ideally in the GCC, with knowledge of PMS systems and MS Office.
- Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Arabic, German, French, or Russian is a strong advantage.
- Has keen eye to details.
- Flexible with working schedule.
- Experience in hotel or travel agency preferred.
