Role Description
This is a part/full-time on-site role for a Behavioral Therapist at HIMMA-PMRC. The Behavioral Therapist will be responsible for implementing individualized therapy programs for children with developmental disabilities. This includes conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, providing one-on-one therapy sessions, and monitoring progress. The Behavioral Therapist will also collaborate with other team members and provide support to families.
Qualifications
Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavior Analysis skills.
CDA – License is mandatory.
Experience in working with children with developmental disabilities.
Strong interpersonal skills
Knowledge of psychology and behavioral principles
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include:
Experience with different therapy techniques and interventions
Ability to create and maintain positive rapport with children and their families
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Passion for helping children achieve their full potential
Professional certifications in Applied Behavior Analysis or related fields
