An exciting opportunity awaits an accomplished nursing leader to join Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital as Deputy Nursing Director in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Established in 2008, Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital provides a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services, supported by a 24-hour Emergency Department. As a Joint Commission International (JCI)-accredited hospital, it is committed to delivering the highest standards of healthcare through a highly qualified and experienced team of medical professionals.
To qualify for this role, you must have:
– A valid DOH Registered Nurse licence or be eligible to obtain one
– At least 5 years of nursing leadership experience in a large, multidisciplinary hospital, preferably in a Nurse Manager or Duty Manager role.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To provide and coordinate patient-centric and evidence based midwifery care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
To deliver quality care to antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum women and neonates in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
To facilitate positive patient and family experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership
To provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions according to company standard and legal requirements
To create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employees
To utilise all required stock and equipment efficiently, according to Mediclinic guidelines
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Relevant Bachelor’s degree
valid BLS and NRP certification
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least two years in own country
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Computer Literacy (Microsoft Suite)
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Patient safety standards
