We are hiring a Female Lifeguard!

The School Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety and supervision of students, staff, and visitors using the school’s swimming pool and aquatic facilities. The role involves active surveillance, emergency response, and maintaining a safe, clean, and well-managed swimming environment in accordance with school policies and governing body regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Maintain constant and vigilant supervision of all pool users during swimming lessons, recreational swimming, and school events
● Enforce pool safety rules and school policies consistently and professionally
● Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including water rescues and first aid situations
● Administer first aid and CPR as required and complete incident and accident reports accurately
● Conduct regular safety checks of the pool, surrounding areas, and lifesaving equipment
● Ensure poolside areas are kept safe, orderly, and free from hazards
● Support swimming instructors and teaching staff during lessons when required
● Monitor student behavior and promote safe swimming practices
● Comply with all health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and governing body requirements
● Attend required training sessions, drills, and staff meetings
Qualifications and Experience:
● 2 years of previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting
● Valid Lifeguard Qualification or license permit
● Valid First Aid and CPR certification
● Knowledge of water safety, rescue techniques, and emergency procedures
● Strong observational skills and the ability to remain alert for extended periods
● Calm, confident, and decisive in emergency situations
● Good communication and interpersonal skills
● Female candidates only, in accordance with student supervision requirements..
