Requirements and skills
3-5 years of proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer
Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
ERP knowledge
Understanding of supply chain procedures
Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
Negotiation skills
BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
Well versed with Customs Operation procedures and documentation.
Well versed in Raw material and spare parts sourcing around the globe.
Knowledge in customs clearing, duty exemption, Mirzal operations in UAE.
Knowledge of Import and handling on Hazardous and dangerous goods.
Extensive Technical procurement knowledge for Manufacturing plant operation and maintenance.
Meeting with visiting suppliers and attending technical meeting in suppliers premises.
Submitting invoice to account dept on time and solve any issue with documentation and payment.
