Location : DIFC, Dubai – UAE
Profile : A member of finance team to ensure the internal control process, manage daily accounting work and support business and management team with data and reports.
Job Responsibilities:
· Review and verify all the finance-related requests and the supporting documents,
· Ensure the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations
· Ensure postings of all transactions in the accounting system in time
· Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual closing in a timely fashion
· Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information and budget
· Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control
· Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines
· Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes
· Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
· Complies with financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation
· Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and investment analysis
· Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, and auditing.
· Proven minimum 3-year work experience as accountant or similar role in this region.
· In-dept understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.
· Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Addition certification (e.g. CPA/ACCA) is a plus
