Job Role: HR & Admin
The role of HR in TMC hitherto has been primarily related to the administration of employees – RP renewals, leave, salary administration, medical policy and so on. In addition, HR also played a role in recruitment and onboarding.
The focus has widened to managing the talent within the Organization, looking at Company Culture and so on. However, these processes are in its infancy and will need to be reviewed, modified and implemented effectively within the Company.
Thus, the selected candidate would have to be hands-on in formulating and implementing these processes; obviously, past direct experience would be necessary. In summary, therefore, the HR role envisaged is as follows:
- Talent Acquisition: Recruiting the right person is a key responsibility of the Head of HR. He will have to ensure competence, cultural fitments while being in sync with the current employees performing similar roles.
- Talent Management: TMC visualizes HR as a primary responsibility of Line Managers. The role of the HR Dept will be to set processes in place, administer the same and support senior management in HR related initiatives.
- Development of leaders: Identifying high quality talent and nurturing them for future growth in consultation with Divisional Heads and COO.
In addition, the selected candidate would also be responsible for the Administration function of the Company – local procurement, travel arrangements, compliance with local regulations, and so on
