Job Position – Cooler Technician

FMCG Company is Looking for Cooler Technician in Doha, Qatar.
Job Purpose
Ensure that the cooling equipment are repaired and maintained in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Major Accountabilities
1. Receive customer complaints and report completion of work; handle customer complaints in a pleasant manner.
2. Attend to the complaints as per priority and ensure that coolers are repaired and maintained on time and in a cost-effective manner.
3. Carry out preventive maintenance to check the coolers and vending machines as per the schedule.
4. Ensure that every cooler has its serial number and keep record of all coolers with background history of their maintenance and installation.
5. Advise Supervisor about all the spare parts to be purchased in order to accomplish the jobs along with the proper justification, propose changes of spare parts and recommend the change of equipment when reoccurring malfunction of equipment starts to become a constant problem.
6. Supervise the service helpers and report any misconduct to the Technical Supervisor.
7. Provide support and help to all other trades when required.
8. Ensure the personal safety of the jobholder by the correct use of tools/equipment and wearing the safety accessories/equipment as supplied.
9. Comply with the company’s hygiene and safety rules and regulations.
Diploma/degree holder in air conditioning and refrigeration.
Previous experience in air conditioning and refrigeration preferably within a reputed manufacturing industry. He should be having proper equipment and systems Knowledge.
