Job Position – Sr. Planning Engineer

Job Description:
· Working in coordination with the Project Manager.
· Prepares baseline programme for project.
· Prepares detailed construction programme for projects, cost and resource loaded or as required.
· Updates schedules for on-going projects. Prepares updated program and schedules for the projects including look-ahead schedules when required and ‘s’ curve cash flow programs.
· Prepares Look-ahead schedules.
· Recovers and maintains project schedules.
· Prepares planning reports in accordance with Client’s requirement.
· “S” Curves preparation.
· Cash flow diagrams.
· Resource histograms – Manpower (Staff & Labour) & Equipment (if any).
· Key Performances Indices (KPI’s).
· Other Planning Reports, as required by Client.
· Prepares delay analysis programs for extension of time claims.
· Attends project coordination meetings with Client.
· Prepare program of work for tender submissions.
· Perform other work-related duties as required to effectively fulfil the planning engineer duties.
Required Education Background, Professional Experience & Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in planning and scheduling both engineering and construction activities.
3. Extensive experience in finalizing EOT claims utilizing Window analysis method is required.
4. preferable have previous experience in Aluminium industry and construction of large-scale complex PROJECTS.
5. Proficiency in scheduling software used in the Project Controls Department Particularly Primavera P6.
6. Good written and oral communication.
In-addition the candidate must send a brief of his claims experience.
