Scope

Established in 1897 in the UK, Knight Frank is the leading independent property consultancy globally offering agency and professional advice across Commercial and Residential sectors.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic self-starter to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and multidisciplinary business in the Middle East as our Social Media, PR and Content Manager.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who has a passion and flair for social media, has the know-how to harness the power of our online channels for both B2C and B2B communications using the wealth of internally generated research and marketing content in both English and Arabic. You will also be responsible for managing all our internal communications and messaging.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Arabic and English and possess exceptional writing, presentation, communication, and social media skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver well-structured copy using Content Management Systems to promote our products and services.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, creative, and innovative content for multiple platforms, including social channels, landing pages, email marketing, videos, and internal and external blogs.
  • Develop and lead our internal digital communications and social media strategy, including videos, podcasts, employee engagement programs etc. with guidance from the Middle East Head of Marcomms, Head of Middle East Research and Global Head of Social Media & Content
  • Manage and drive traffic to internal communications and social content on our digital platforms
  • Ensure internal communication documents are up-to-date, content is accurate and relevant and proactively adhere to internal communication guidelines
  • Track activity through the collation and sharing of statistics on our social and internal content
  • Build strong relationships across the Middle East business as well as with the Group leads for Marketing, Social, PR and Internal Communications to ensure a joined-up approach
  • Promote internal communications and social media content engagement within the business, both in the Middle East and globally through the Knight Frank network
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of key channels and spot trends to offer suggestions for improvement in social and content strategies.
  • Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of Knight Frank’s services and channels.
  • Collaborate with our Middle East Research team as well as Middle East and Global Marcomms teams on key projects and campaigns to deliver best-in-class social and digital solutions.
  • Deliver the social and digital marketing leads on implementing strategies to achieve business objectives, including audits, analysis, presentations, pitches, proposals and reporting.
  • Work with our Middle East Research team as well as Middle East and Global Marcomms teams to deliver digital marketing campaigns and initiatives, including paid and organic social media.
  • Manage any ad-hoc social and digital marketing training by being an expert advisor on best practice and policy.
  • Visit and communicate with regional offices to generate local social content.
  • Build and maintain goodwill, confidentiality, and trust with all Middle East teams

 

Middle East Liaison for Global Business

s Become the key point of contact for Knight Frank Group and the central conduit for group level internal and external communications, in addition to Group-level social, PR, and marketing initiatives, which you will replicate as needed and deliver for the Middle East business. Similarly, you will replicate the above by becoming a central point of contact for the dissemination of social, PR and marketing initiatives from our network of Africa offices for the Middle East business.

PR

  • Liaise with the Middle East Research team and other service line stakeholders to craft press releases on research outputs and corporate messages we wish to take to the market.
  • Build a strong working relationship with the Global head of PR to promote relevant Middle East PR messages across the Knight Frank network and vice versa.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Middle East journalists to promote our research outputs and corporate messages, both in English and Arabic.

 

Team / Operating Environment

  • Requirement to provide high quality, user-friendly and easy to digest social content on a high frequency basis using all our internal and external social media channels, in English and Arabic.
  • Completing deliverables to tight deadlines means that the ability to get on with colleagues and a flexible attitude towards office hours are as important as technical skills & experience.
  • The ability to continuously improve our social media presence, frequency of B2B and B2C messaging is essential.

Systems & IT competence

  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Outlook
  • Keyword research tools such as SEMRush, Conductor or equivalent
  • Social Media tools including Emplifi, Later.com, Sked Social or similar
  • Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop & Premiere Pro) desirable
  • Yammer or equivalent internal intranet systems usage experience is desirable

Professional Experience and Personal Skills Profile

Qualifications/ Education Required

  • Degree educated

Career Experience Required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role – experience within the Middle East real estate sector is essential.

Aptitudes/Skills Required

  • Clear and logical thinker with excellent writing and communication skills.
  • The ability to create extra content/nuggets, both data-driven/quantitative and opinion-based/qualitative using existing Middle East research content.
  • The ability to identify, recommend, understand, and adapt to new technologies and software.
  • Proven experience of leading the development and delivery of both internal and external communications and their associated strategies.
  • Impeccable grasp of English and Arabic, and an excellent and creative flair with words
  • Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with colleagues, and management.
  • An intimate understanding and awareness of each internal stakeholder’s requirements and the company’s brand image, research outputs/content, products, and services.
  • Excellent organisational skills. Comfortable with multi-tasking and working on multiple conflicting deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
