We are immediately hiring a freelance event manager to manage a key event in The Abu Dhabi.
Job Description
-Define, identify and execute events that drive measurable demand generation results
-Work with various internal departments to shape event and themes for events
-Evaluate, select and manage outside vendors and service providers as appropriate
-Propose creative ideas and themes, research and recommend solution
-Manage event costs, maintain event budget, and provide detailed budget analysis and post event report and postmortem results.
-Communicate with all appropriate cross-functional teams regarding events such as: meeting, timelines, requirements, messaging, pre/post event meetings, etc.
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
-BA/BS degree in Marketing/Event Management or related field.
-Minimum of 5 years of event planning/management experience, preferably in The UAE market
-Agency experience working with a range of clients is required
Understanding of Local Market
Familiar with local vendors and suppliers
-Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey ideas and data in written and verbal presentations to a variety of audiences.
-Exceptional organizational skill with the ability to run multiple projects and meet deadlines
-Demonstrated skills in positioning and differentiating products and services.
-Team player with strong people management and cross-functional project leadership skills.
-Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements.
-Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail: ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in parallel.
-Budget management is a requirement.
-Intellectually curious, flexible, and open to learning and new ideas
