General Insurance Officer
We are currently looking to expand our team with a motivated and experienced Insurance Executive who will be responsible for handling a diverse portfolio of General Insurance products. This includes Property All Risk, Contractor All Risk, Third Party Liability, Workmen Compensation, Group Life, Marine Insurance, and various lines under Engineering, Financial Lines, and Commercial Insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle end-to-end insurance placement across General, Engineering, Financial, and Commercial lines
• Liaise and negotiate with insurers to secure the most competitive and comprehensive terms
• Prepare and present insurance proposals and quotes to clients
• Maintain strong client relationships by offering prompt, professional, and tailored advisory services
• Ensure timely renewals, endorsements, and claims coordination
• Monitor and stay updated with market trends, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory changes
• Maintain proper documentation and compliance in line with internal and external standards
• Maintain records and should be proficient in Microsoft office.
Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in General Insurance with exposure to Engineering, Financial Lines, and Commercial Insurance
• Strong understanding of insurance products, risk assessment, and policy wordings
• Proven experience in negotiating with insurers and providing high-standard client servicing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• UAE market experience preferred (not mandatory).
