Job Position – Planning Engineer

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or construction management.
· Minimum
of 15 years’ experience in Planning/ Project Controls field is required.
· Prepare resource loaded -man hour, equipment and cost loaded detailed construction
programs.
· Review and Comment on Contractors Baseline schedule of works in line with contract conditions and assist them in developing acceptable programs.
· Ensure accuracy of resources and cost loading of Contractors’ programs.
· Prepare / Review Logs to monitor critical issues during the Design and Construction
stages of Projects.
· Agree on the progress measurement system (PMS) and key indicators with the consultants/contractors during the project for monitoring purposes.
· Evaluate & verify the planning and scheduling information from Contractors’ Progress reports and update progress schedules. Identify the potential areas of delay/slippage, highlight the critical events and suggest mitigation measures / corrective actions
· Prepare Progress Reports and Executive Reports for Employers and Company’s Top Management. Include program analysis and recommendations to ensure timely project completion.
· Prepare presentations regarding Project features and work progress.
· Attend project site meetings and prepare minutes of meetings.
· Discuss, coordinate, and resolve the planning and scheduling problems with the contractor and the Employer.
· Detailed assessment of EOT claims, using leading delay analysis methodologies including time impact analysis & window analysis with the strong skill to demonstrate the contractor’s concurrent delay.
· Provide impact analysis of schedule changes, identify schedule variances and opportunities and evaluate proposed mitigation strategies.
