ECG Technician

📍 Location: Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
Perform standard 12-lead ECGs, rhythm strips, and other related non-invasive cardiac tests as prescribed by physicians.
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process to alleviate anxiety and ensure cooperation.
Correctly place electrodes and operate ECG equipment to obtain clear and artifact-free tracings.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the procedure.
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of ECG machines, reporting any malfunctions.
Accurately label ECG recordings with patient information and enter preliminary data into the hospital’s health information system.
Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records and adhere to all hospital policies and infection control protocols.
Assist with inventory management of ECG supplies.
Participate in departmental training and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Education: Diploma or Associate Degree in Electroneurophysiology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related healthcare field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an ECG Technician in a hospital or clinical setting.
License: DHA (Dubai Health Authority) License or Eligibility Letter is MANDATORY.
Skills: Proficiency in ECG equipment operation, strong patient interaction skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Language: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
