Hiring Senior Healthcare Procurement Officer
Are you a strategic sourcing expert with a sharp eye for the healthcare supply chain? We are looking for a Senior Healthcare Procurement Officer to support our procurement operations and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of hospital supplies.
In this role, you will act as a Senior Procurement Officer, ensuring our facility is equipped with high-quality medical consumables and essential equipment while maintaining cost-efficiency and compliance.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing: Manage the procurement of medical consumables, pharmaceuticals, and surgical supplies.
Team Leadership: Supervise the procurement staff to ensure timely delivery and adherence to hospital protocols.
Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts, evaluate supplier performance, and build long-term partnerships.
Inventory Control: Minimize waste and optimize stock levels to support patient care standards.
Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities align with healthcare regulations and internal audits.
Requirements
Proven experience in Healthcare Procurement (specifically medical consumables).
Demonstrated ability in a supervisory or lead role within a hospital or clinical setting.
Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in ERP procurement software.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain logistics and healthcare quality standards.
