Job Description
The Four Seasons Doha Serviced Apartments is looking for Laundry Attendant to join our talented pre-opening team! Essential Functions
The Laundry Attendant reports directly to the Laundry Manager and is responsible for providing a constant supply of clean linens for the entire hotel. This position is also responsible for pressing and the dry cleaning of our guests’ clothes and other items per their particular requests. This is a physical job that requires heavy lifting, and carrying.
- Sorts used linens into appropriate categories for off-site washing. Sorts out stained or torn linen. Loads and unloads carts.
- Shakes wet sheets, table linens and napkins prior to ironing in order to spread them out. Feeds washed linens into ironer. Retrieves folded linens and stacks or hangs clean linens as appropriate.
- Sorts clean towels, rugs and robes. Uses towel folder and manual folding for bath towels, washcloths, rugs and robes. Places folded product on appropriate rack.
- Operates and maintains folding equipment. Reports any problems or deficiencies to manager.
- Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- Assist in processing the linen and terry used throughout the resort
- Adhere to Four Seasons Hotel’s standards as well as policies and procedures
- Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Employee Handbook
- Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and direct superior
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in related field
- Excellent command in English, Arabic is an advantage
- We are looking for candidates who have previous laundry and valet experience
- Service Passion for Luxury Hospitality
- Passion for cleanliness and well handling of a beautiful product is required.
