Specialist Otolaryngology (ENT)

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

· Higher Professional Degree / Specialty certificate recognized by Ministry of Health in relevant area of specialization.

· Western qualification such as American Board, Canadian Board, UK Membership / Fellowship, or Its equivalent to Arab Board.

Licensing Details:

· Active DHA/MOH/DOH license as Specialist Otolaryngology (ENT) preferred.

· Candidates with DHA/MOH/DOH eligibility or are going through the eligibility process, with a positive Dataflow report, are also eligible to apply.

Experience:

· Minimum of 5 years of work experience since gaining higher qualification.

Roles & Responsibilities.

· Treating conditions of the ears, upper pharynx, and oral cavity, larynx, nose, face, and neck.

· Treating nosebleeds, tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, infected mastoids, and sinusitis.

· Assisting patients with a limited or altered sense of smell.

· Treating patients with tumors in the head or neck or patients with a defect in the ear, nose, or throat.

· Collaborating with other medical practitioners.

· Provides consultation and treatment of ENT related pathologies, conducts non-invasive and invasive procedures according to his eligibility and might be responsible for certain areas of administration under the general direction of the Head of Department.

· Examine patients post operatively to evaluate surgery outcome, to assess complications and make recommendations as indicated.

· To perform the professional duties of an Otolaryngology (ENT) in accordance with the delineation of privileges as recommended and approved by the Credentials Committee.

· Leadership skills appropriate for a highly functioning clinical team.

· Outstanding patient management skills

· Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
