🏨 We’re Hiring | Housekeeping Coordinator
📍 Copthorne Hotel Sharjah
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team. If you have a strong background in hotel housekeeping operations and a passion for service excellence, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Allocate daily room and task assignments to housekeeping teams
2. Follow up on room discrepancy reports and ensure timely resolution
3. Maintain staff attendance, duty rosters, Off days, and Public Holidays
4. Coordinate with HR and update employee data in the HR system
5. Monitor store inventories and control wastage
6. Handle guest requests and ensure high service standards
7. Manage Lost & Found operations with proper documentation and reporting
8. Supervise housekeeping office operations and incoming calls
9. Issue keys in line with hotel security procedures
10. Communicate guest requests, VIP arrivals, and guest profiles to teams
11. Perform administrative and reporting duties
12. Organize special tasks and extra duties
13. Report and follow up on maintenance issues
14. Liaise with Front Office, Reception, and Guest Relations
15.Ensure clear communication across all shifts
16. Control staff dry cleaning and guest laundry movement
17. Update systems to maximize room availability
18. Handle departmental emergencies professionally
19. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Hygiene standards
20. Perform any other duties assigned by Management
Requirements:
. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a reputed hotel
. Strong coordination, administrative, and communication skills
. Knowledge of housekeeping systems and hotel operations
. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
. Professional attitude and strong attention to detail
