CEO Hatem Dowidar
Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, Etisalat was established over four decades ago as the U.A.E.’s first telecommunications services provider. Today, it has 149 million subscribers in 16 countries across the Middle East, Asia and Africa. This year, the Etisalat Group lifts restrictions on foreign shareholders voting rights. Hatem Dowidar is currently the Acting CEO of Etisalat Group. Before he was promoted, he had been CEO of Etisalat International since March 2016. He joined in September 2015 as Group COO.
