Job Position – Healthcare Assistant – PACU

Our client, a premier medical facility, is currently looking for a Healthcare Assistant – Post Anaesthesia Care Unit with experience handling Orthopedic cases, to be based in Abu Dhabi. In this role, the candidate will assist in the delivery of holistic care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, or other registered clinician. Supports the registered nurse or other registered clinician in the safe, effective and efficient management of the department with allocated resources.
- Provide high-quality patient care.
- Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
- Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
- Develop programs to maintain health and safety.
- Document all injuries and illnesses.
- Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
- Maintains patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
Requirements
To be considered, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing / RN certification or equivalent is required.
- With valid license from home country
- At least 1-2 years of experience in the UAE, in a day surgery centre / large hospital within Outpatient Department
- Willing to work in Abu Dhabi
- Willing to work for 48 hours in one week
- Willing to do on-calls / Overtime, if highly needed
- Arabic speaker / knows how to speak basic Arabic language is preferred
