Job Position – Senior Accountant/Chief Accountant

Location : Abu Dhabi
Responsible:
Month end closing & Financial Reporting:
Ensure all the entries are booked accurately and on timely basis for Month, Quarter and Year end closing. Preparation of department P&L, Balance sheet, Group reporting format, Leads and submission of data into Hyperion.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Assist in preparing budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
Accounts payables:
Processing Supplier’s payments, advances, utility, govt payments and project expenses.
Accounts Receivable:
Verifying credit approval requests of companies,
reconciling the customer’s statements, invoicing, and
ensuring the collection of receivables on time.
Final accounts:
Review trial balance, reconciling and rectifying Entries.
Preparing P&L statement and Balance sheet for Audit.
Reconciliation:
Vendor reconciliation, inter-company receivables and payables.
Handling all email quarries by facilitating requirements for finalizing credit period.
Payroll:
Preparing salaries, distributing cash salary to employees.
Handling end of settlements etc.
DTCM & Municipality
Audit:
Handling Tourism dirham fee and Municipality fee audit
Banking:
Handling Bank reconciliation as per books of accounts
Cash management:
Cash management and monthly closing with journal vouchers.
Inventory & cost
control:
Verifying vendor cost comparison report and checking quarterly inventory count of all stores
Reporting:
Preparing daily Manager’s report, income statement and cash flow statements and analyzing, preparing various financial reports as per management
Value Added Tax:
Preparation of VAT return file and payment Reconciliation of Tax return and GL balances.
Preparation of Tax Statement and filing of the return with the Tax
