The Accelerated Refinement Of Talent Programme (TAROT) was established to attract and develop a continuous flow of talent to Rotana in order to meet the rapidly expanding brand and increasing need for qualified colleagues. The programme targets fresh graduates, local and expatriate, as well as existing Rotana team members.

TAROT is a fast-track development programme designed for individuals with the potential to assume managerial positions. The duration of the programme is 18 months which comprise of 4 developmental quarters and the remaining 6 months are work experience, either in form of a ‘Shadow Assignment’ or ‘Task Force Assignment’. A further minimum employment period of 24 months as a permanent Rotana colleague needs to be completed afterwards in order to consider the TAROT Participant as successful.

The enrolment in the TAROT Programme is open to both external candidates and internal Rotana Colleagues. Some of the selection criteria are:

• Diploma / Bachelor / Master Degree, with minimum 3 years of continuous studies and a minimum of one year of practical skills and experience (during studies)

• Strong command of the English language (written & spoken)

• Age preferable between 23 – 28 years

• Extremely location flexible and mobile (‘Mobility Meter’ to be filled in the beginning of the interviewing phase)

• Ambitious, confident, enthusiastic, passionate

• Plan to pursue a long-term career with Rotana

TAROT Participant in-takes are limited to twice a year during the months of February and September.

The programme will cover all the necessary areas you need for a future managerial role with Rotana. Your plan will focus on the development of your competencies, your technical skills as well as the way you manage people.

Rotana Hotel Management Corporation (Rotana) was founded in 1992, by a partnership between two visionary thinkers, Nasser Al Nowais and Selim El Zyr.

Operating as Rotana, it opened its first property, the Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi in 1993 and is today one of the leading hotel management companies within the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Turkey.

Rotana combines a unique understanding of the culture and communities of the Middle East with the collective expertise of an executive team contributing to years of international experience in the service industry.

Rotana’s plans to grow from the two properties it started in 1993 to a total of 80 by 2023.
