Job Position – Spray Painter

The selected candidate will be responsible to work according to technical data relating to surface restoration of Aircraft Components.
Job Duties: In relation to Surface Restoration of Aircraft Components
- Perform inspection, repair of components I.A.W. Technical Data.
- Complete all regulatory training.
- Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise.
- Complete job assignments in a timely manner.
- Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification.
- Duties will include but not limited to, the preparation and application of various materials including primers, protective chemicals and top coat finishes.
- The Spray painter will document and stamp for work.
- Participate in shop and facility Continuous Improvement activities and initiatives.
- Participate in shop audits as scheduled.
- Perform area cleaning and maintenance as required.
- Demonstrate awareness and understanding of company policies and management systems, the importance of conforming to all company policies and procedures.
- Experience of composite repairs would be beneficial.
Experience / Requirements / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Technical Diploma
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in performing related painting activities in Aerospace or Automotive industry, preferably in an MRO shop.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret Maintenance Manuals e.g. CMM,SRM.
- Ability to work flexible hours and a willingness to assist other departments as necessary.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in written form in the English language.
