You will be working as a Logistics Specialist and will be the part of Motion Business Area for Service Division located in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be responsible to support the implementation, maintenance and compliance of Procurement practice approved activities. Executes assigned activities based on the standard procedures.

SCM & Quality Manager

Your responsibilities

• Arrange motion air/sea/road/courier movement between ABB factories, 3rd party suppliers and customer locations/sites, including projects/product sales/service orders, workshop, warranty, warehouse, etc movement. Handle customs clearance for all movements and ensure compliance.
• Keep up-to-date data on all the movement. Create, measure, analyze, develop KPI’s within the logistics scope to be able to monitor and improve logistics performance.
• Ensure logistics costs are within the budget, seeking cost savings within the scope and reporting the savings accordingly.
• Prepare document, update and develop the logistics processes together with supply chain and ensure all supplier invoices are being processed/approved within 3 working days from receive to maintain uninterrupted service from the suppliers, upkeep the relations with suppliers and authorities together with SCM.
• Maintain and develop the cooperation with internal parties such as sales and operations.
• Handle the dispute and cargo damage cases, preparing and documenting the process. Keep up with the latest logistics news & developments to ensure compliance & best practices.
• Create shipping documents as per requirements.

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain.
• 3 to 5 years professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience from sea, air, road and courier movements handling.
• Need to have logistics experience from transportation and customs clearance handling.
• Customs clearance process knowledge.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
