JOB DESCRIPTION:

Plan, lead and develop the Human Resources Function to ensure the activities of the department are strategically
aligned and integrated to support business unit strategy, goals and
objectives.

Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and procedure to ensure that the Business Unit is resourced to
deliver on its strategic objectives.

Ensure that all aspects of the HR function promote an organizational culture of teamwork and servi
ce, high quality,
transparency and accountability, innovation and inclusiveness.

Provide professional advice and support to all levels of the business on Human Resources related issues to ensure
that the human resources capability of the business is optimi
sed.

Ensure the effective achievement of Human Resources functional objectives through

setting departmental &
sectional objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal
feedback and appraisal

in order
to ensure that the highest level of performance is achieved.

Manages annual budgets and recruitment plans that accurately represent anticipated manpower & development
costs.

Lead and facilitate the recruitment process and ensure that all hiring is in accor
dance with best practices,
compliance, organizational budgetary guidelines and ensuring people with the right skills, experiences and
attitudes are appointed in all positions

Ensure that BU meets its Duty of Care towards all employees including building aw
areness and implementation of
safeguarding measures amongst BU staff.

Focus on talent development including the regular processes of staff appraisal and feedback, goal setting,
professional development and career development to ensure that all employees ha
ve the opportunity to fulfil their
career potential

Ensure the effective and timely implementation of the appraisal process, including mid and end of year reviews and
support of the ongoing monthly meetings

Ensure continuous improvement of HR
systems and policies in line with current best practice, legislation and
regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor’s degree and/or a post graduate qualification in Human Resources Management.

Highly developed skill in persuading, inspiring, developing and motivating are required in order to interact with other
people.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 10

12
years’ experience as an HR Generalist with an in depth knowledge of Strategic Human Resource
Management, having at least 3 years’ experience working within the middle east in a managerial role
