The Role
We currently have an opening for a Solutions Engineer. In this position you will oversee technical aspects of Business Development for OSI’s Products. Specific on-the-job training will be provided.
Your Impact
- Own the technical business development aspects of OSI’s products.
- Work diligently on responding to the technical conformance and questionnaire responses of competitive bids.
- Support the product demonstration team and technical contracting workshops during the competitive bid process.
- Present product capabilities and field customer inquiries during OSI-led solution scoping workshops.
- Represent OSI in a superior manner with an excellent attitude.
- Manage assigned projects with care, concern and diligence.
- Be decisive and innovative when resolving issues.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in technical field.
- 2+ years of business and technical sales support experience in the energy industry.
- Ability to travel. Preferred
- Experience working in the operations group of an electric distribution utility.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems.
- 5+ years of business and technical sales support experience
